It seems that beating congestion is very important to some Russian drivers who will do anything to get ahead of the pack of ‘fools’ driving in a civilized manner - even if that means just waiting around for the queue of cars to move along at snail’s pace.
This is especially true in cities with trams and dedicated tram lanes where cars are not allowed. Drivers simply ignore this and try to carve out their own way through the congestion. However, it sometimes ends badly, as is the case with the driver of this Mercedes-Benz C-Class, who thinks he can squeeze through a gap, only to discover that it was not big enough, and blocked a few meters up ahead.
Sadly, he manages to hit at least two cars, from what we can see, but the crash was thankfully not that violent and everybody was OK. Such drivers should learn their lesson and, no matter how big a hurry they are in, they should always be civilized and respect other drivers - another incentive to do so is the fact that they are in Russia and could get beaten up for bad driving, easily!
