After taking on China, India and Russia with a full assault of fine leathers and woods, Rolls Royce has begun targeting the South American market, a region in which it has never officially sold cars.
To mark the occasion, a fresh Phantom was taken on the adventure of its lifetime, through 5,000 miles of South American landscapes. Flamingos, salt flats, deserts, lamas and... old people, the mighty saloon has seen them all.
There’s something that puzzles us in this official statement: “The 2008 film is being highlighted as Rolls-Royce announces it is entering the South American market for the first time, with plans to open showrooms in 2012.”
Does that mean it’s part of their official heat tests, or does this have something to do with CAR Magazine’s sting there back in 2008?
