A lot of aftermarket outlets and parts providers love to play with the looks of Rolls-Royce vehicles, but very few of them dare to make them compatible with a Ford, let alone a heavy-duty pickup truck!
Usually, an ultra-luxury four-door saloon from Britain and a Super Duty American pickup truck are at either end of the automotive spectrum – one is good for business encounters and castle residences. At the same time, the other feels right at home on a construction site or at a big farm. However, someone decided they wanted to have both – as in best of both worlds.
So, nothing seems impossible when aftermarket outlets like Forgiato or 713 Motoring are involved. Even if a client gives them a call and asks for their second-generation Rolls-Royce Ghost to match the other ride in the mansion, a fifth-generation F-450 Platinum. The opposites attract theory is certainly worthy of exploration here, and someone even noticed that this could be a clear case of an ultimate encounter between the beauty and the beast variety.
Anyway, the good folks over at Forgiato Designs, the renowned aftermarket wheel company based in Los Angeles, California, have attracted our attention on social media toward this duet. The liaison is not only the use of aftermarket wheels from the same outlet, albeit with slightly different designs. Instead, the Rolls-Royce Ghost coach door saloon and the humongous Ford F-450 Platinum dually also share the white-pristine colorway sprinkled with orange touches to go along with the chrome details.
We don't know if there are any modifications inside the cabins, but these two can never be unseen from the outside, especially if visualized together. Even separately, they would stand out in any crowd thanks to the large aftermarket wheels, white-and-orange combination, and the other luxury touches such as color-matched black body elements. Curiously, this is probably the first and last time we will ever think that a 6.75-liter N74B68 twin-turbocharged V12 five-and-a half-meter or 218-inch (or 5,715 mm/225-inch if it's a long wheelbase) sedan looks puny when sitting alongside another vehicle.
However, the Ford F-450 Platinum dually Super Duty is equally impressive, and it seems that the aftermarket wheels got doubled by a thorough lift procedure performed on the factory suspension setup. In the end, no one will probably dare to consider this duo distasteful because of the extreme attention to detail, but we reckon that the owner also doesn't care too much about detractors not liking a Rolls-Royce sitting alongside a Ford pickup truck in matching attire. Anyway, if that's not your cue, Forgiato believes its aftermarket wheels look marvelous on any vehicle, including a Porsche 911 GT3 RS, a GMC Sierra, Rolls-Royce Cullinan, Ferrari 296, or Kim Kardashian's Range Rover, just to give a few examples.
