Tuning seems to be in the American blood just as much as oil, so the aftermarket show from Las Vegas benefits from a lot of attention both nationally and internationally. The 2009 SEMA Show brings another example of design improvement with a Suzuki Kizashi with modifications made by Road Race Motorsport.
If you visit the Zeitronix booth at SEMA you’ll see Kizashi’s bodykit with Carbontrix custom bumpers, rear spats and diffuser. In addition, the Suzuki also has a custom grill, vented hood, ‘Platinum Edition’ graphics and a blackened roof. All the visuals were inspired by the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
The new design is completed by a performance kit including sport springs, front and rear sway bars and custom built chassis stiffeners. The Kizashi also gets new brakes from Rotora – 330mm slotted rotors up front, supplemented by Road Race’s own 260mm slotted rotors in the rear.
The Suzuki engine was also slightly refined. Road Race Motorsport opted for new custom intake system, Zeitronix ZT-2 data logging system and Road Race engine management. The package is completed by “Integrated Sport” dual exhaust system.
Road Race company has a vast experience in building numerous race and project cars over the years. Both the customer cars and the race cars proved to be successful on-road and in different competitions. Some of the Road Race victories include Redline Time Attack Overall Winner at California Speedway in 2005, fastest U.S. Lancer, 2nd Fastest U.S. Lancer in different U.S. competitions.
