In the world of BMW tuning, there are a few acronyms that pop out here and there. Amongst them you’ll find PSI (Precision Sport Industries) but also RKP and EAS. Those last two are the culprits here as the two companies joined forces to show you how good a new carbon fiber rear diffuser looks like on the 2015 M3 and M4 models.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last half a year or if you just don’t really care about cars in general, you probably know what BMW did with the 2015 M3 and M4 models. That’s right, they brought back that M spirit we all love and missed for quite some time.
As we found in our own M4 review, the engine, chassis, weight and even electric steering are absolutely just right, in the given circumstances where the Bavarian manufacturer has to abide some really stringent legislation.
Moving back to the RKP part of the story, the company released its own take on a rear diffuser and it’s looking absolutely great. Made exclusively out of carbon fiber, it’s the result of 3 months of hard work in the lab to get the perfect fit and finish.
Unlike the BMW M Performance diffuser, RKP’s fins extend all the way to the edge of the diffuser, giving them a much more noticeable look in all of the right areas. Available in either 1x1 or 2x2 weave patterns.
The price for what you’re going to look at in the photo gallery rises to $1,176 in the US. European availability hasn’t been confirmed yet. To get the end of your car to look like the one in the gallery, you’ll also need iND’s black coated exhaust tips that will set you back another $450.
