The all-new Rezvani Beast has been unleashed. The supercar is an obvious departure from the brand's monstrous SUV-based contraptions. It's got 1,000 horsepower and a Corvette Stingray engine, and it is halfway between President Joe Biden's Beast and the type of car secret agent James Bond would drive.
The Beast is Rezvani's latest creation, with a name identical to the brand's first-ever vehicle. But that was ten years ago, and the car was built around the Ariel Atom chassis, sporting a carbon fiber body. It was powered by a 2.4-liter supercharged engine delivering 500 horsepower (507 metric horsepower) in its entry-level version, linked to six-speed manual transmission.

The all-new Beast is lightyears away from the one from 14 years ago. It is powered by the 6.2-liter V8 from the C8 Corvette Stingray, equipped with a pair of turbochargers, pumping out 1,000 horsepower (1,014 metric horsepower) and 878 pound-feet (1,090 Newton meters) of torque. An eight-speed Termec dual-clutch automatic transmission with paddle shifters on the steering wheel puts the power down.

The Beast hits 60 mph (97 kph) from a standstill in 2.5 seconds and runs the quarter mile in 9.6 seconds. Rezvani does not disclose the top speed. The Corvette-sourced V8 pulls a car that weighs 2,960 pounds (1,343 kilograms). The Beast from a decade ago tipped the scale at only 1,650 pounds (750 kilograms).

The model comes with Corvette vibes, featuring large side intakes and a removable targa top, but finds inspiration in the 2014 Beast as well. It retains the signature low headlights, which the startup refers to as "predatory eyes." The Beast is fitted with unique Dragon Wings doors.

The Beast rides on 20-inch wheels at the front and 20-inch units at the rear, with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R, 275/30/R20 at the front and 355/25/R1 at the back.

It looks like a hypercar, drives like a hypercar, has the figures of one, but is more than a hypercar. It can be optionally specced with a bulletproof glass and body for $55,000 more, just in case someone shoots at it.

Furthermore, it has a smokescreen feature, the kind that is used in military operations, plus a pepper spray dispenser. All these are included in a package called "007," and costs $45,000.

The future owner can also check the boxes for a siren and horn, intercom system, gas masks, strobe lights, and explosive device detection. It sounds pretty much like the Beast Joe Biden is chauffeured in.

However, the cabin is not exactly fit for a president. The cockpit is built around the driver, and there is a Formula 1-inspired steering wheel with no top section. Black leather with contrasting red stitching covers the dashboard.

The all-new Rezvani Beasts starts at $485,000. But that's before checking the boxes for the "007" package and bulletproofing, which would take the price all the way to $585,000. Only 20 Beasts will roll off the production line.
