Only a few people know the insights of the next-gen Alfa Romeo Giulia, but if anything, it will likely go down the electric route, considering that the Italian carmaker plans to offer only zero-emission models from 2027.
It may be sad to see the successor to the current Giulia lacking the fabulous V6 engine made with Ferrari's expertise that powers the range-topping Quadrifoglio. Nonetheless, at least the moniker will live on, and with electric power only, it will be futureproof – let's just hope it will be at least as good as its predecessor.
The rumor that Alfa Romeo's Giulia is going electric after 2025 has sparked several unofficial attempts at trying to imagine its styling. And since it should be one sexy proposal in the electric sports sedan segment, all renderings are on the exciting side of the CGI realm, including these ones, which came via Tommaso D'Amico on YouTube.
Wait a minute, haven't we already seen this digital take on the next-gen Giulia? Why, of course we have, and not that long ago, either. Only those renderings were all about the normal car targeting civilians, whereas these ones put the spotlight on the police variant, retaining the same eye-catching design as the one mentioned above.
Making it stand out, though, is the Italian police attire. The car was virtually dressed in blue with a few white accents. It has the 'polizia' decals at the front, sides, and rear, has the Italian flag motif on the rear quarter panel, some special logos on the front fenders, emergency lights, and rides on a set of wheels that are typical to Alfa Romeos.
The rendering artist was kind enough to digitally open up the cockpit to the so-called Nuova (New) Giulia Polizia, which is something very rare when it comes to such creations. Thus, we can see the simple dashboard layout with a tablet-like infotainment system sitting next to the digital gauges.
The car has a three-spoke steering wheel, new air vents, a different center console that hosts the gear selector and electric parking brake, and physical controls when it comes to the HVAC system. The police radio was neatly incorporated below these buttons, and it sits next to a rotary dial. The car also features blue leather upholstery.
We should also mention that it was imagined as packing an internal combustion engine under the hood, though that is wishful thinking, as we already told you. As for the looks part, we would be anything but angry if the next-gen Giulia turns out to look like this, as it is one sexy proposal. But would you buy it over a BMW 3 Series or a Mercedes C-Class if it doesn't feature ICE power anymore?
