Renault likes to launch limited edition models and feed them to users using a straw: first, the carmaker launches a new limited edition, and when this sells out, it come with a second batch.
The latest example we can think of is the Laguna Monaco GP Edition. Now, the French company is using the same scheme for the Renault Megane Coupe-Cabriolet Floride. This limited edition of the open top Megane made its debut at the 2011 Cannes Festival and now, after it was sold out, the automaker is announcing a second run.
The second batch of the Megane Coupe-Cabriolet Floride is limited to 1,600 numbered example, out of which 250 are destined for the French market. The pricing starts at EUR33,100 (USD44,680).
We’ll remind you that the car, which is dressed in Floride Ivory and has a gloss black roof, has an interior that comes with a two-tone leather finish for the seats, ivory trimming and a metallic finish for the gear shifter.
We’ll remind you that the vehicle is powered by a dCi diesel unit that delivers 130 hp and 300 Nm (221 lb-ft), with the 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint being colpeted in 10.6 seconds and the top speed sitting at 205 km/h (127 mph).
