Subaru BRZ GT300 Sounds Awesome in First Official Video

Subaru must be proud of their new engine, because they wrote “Proud of BOXER” on the back and front of the BRZ GT300. This was the first thing we noticed in their official video, that and the fact that the car sound awesomely pure.
The performance Subaru will make its racing debut in next year’s Super GT300 class, a sort of Japanese touring car championship. Right now, there are no official specs for the car, and even though the class is limited to 300 horsepower, the same output that the turbo version is supposed to make, it does’t mean that’s under the bonnet.

Either way, the BRZ looks beautiful in its racing spec, with side exhaust, a roll cage and massive diffuser and wing. This is a completely different monster to the sports coupe, and a lot of work seems to have gone into its development.
