Renault has announced that order books for the new Clio IV, which is being shown at the Paris Motor Show right now, will open on November 1st in Britain, with deliveries to take place next year starting February 1st.
The starting price for this new French supermini has been fixed at £10,595, with standard equipment set to include the front, side and curtain airbags, Bluetooth, ESC (Electronic Stability Control), ETC (Electronic Traction Control) electric front windows and door mirrors and an adjustable steering wheel.
The base engine is a 74bhp (75 PS) 1.2-liter petrol, will do 51.4 mpg combined and emits only 127 grams of CO2 per kilometer. This is the only engine available with the base Expression trim level.
The new Clio will also arrive in Britain with the new TCe 90 0.9-liter three-cylinder petrol engine and the 1.5-liter dCi 90, both also available in ECO variants. The most amazing is the dCi 90 ECO, which will only emit 83 grams per km and use get you through an amazing 88.3 miles for every gallon of diesel fuel.
