Renault Announces 2011 Laguna Facelift Pricing

Renault used this year’s edition of the Paris Auto Show to introduce a facelift for the Laguna range. Now, the automotive producer is announcing the UK pricing for the revamped Hatch and Sports Tourer models.

The new Laguna range allows customers to choose between three equipment levels: Expression, Dynamique TomTom and GT Line TomTom. All the equipment levels come with a wider range of features. The entry-level Expression trim comes with a standard features list that includes Arkamys 3D Sound single CD/radio MP3 with Bluetooth and fingertip control, 16 inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, aux input, ESC and front fog lights.

The facelifted Laguna’s engine range includes one petrol engine and four diesel powerplants. The petrol unit has a capacity of 2.0 liters and delivers 140 hp. The entry level-diesel engine is a 1.5 dCi that produces 110 hp. This is followed by a 2.0 dCi unit that can offer 150, 175 or 180 hp. All the diesel units feature a diesel particulate filter.

The entry-level model of the Laguna range, the Hatch using the 2.0 liter engine and Expression equipment level, will set you back 17,795 pounds (EUR 20,175 or $27,965). At the other end of the scale, we find the Sport Tourer powered by a 2.0 dCi diesel engine and using the GT Line TomTom equipment grade, which can be yours starting from 24,145 pounds (EUR27,375 or $37,945). We’ll mention that the Sport Tourer models come with a premium of 1,100 pounds (EUR1,247 or $1,729) over the price of the Hatch versions.

The refreshed Laguna’s order books are already open and the vehicle will make its way to showrooms across Britain next month.
