Renault Ads Make You Think Twice About Additional Costs

Buying a car is a very important decision for anybody, regardless of wealth or inclination towards actually liking cars and understanding the phenomenon. However, very few people take the actual costs of owning a car into consideration - this is why some cars are cheaper than others, despite the fact that there is no difference in perceived quality. The cars from the latter category will undoubtedly be more expensive to maintain and service over the years, so you end up paying pretty much the same thing in the end.
This set of witty Renault ads tries to blow past all the excitement and hype surrounding ‘the event’ of buying a car, and gets down to the nitty-gritty - its costs over time. Timing belts need to be changed around every 100,000 km (if you are not lucky enough to have a car with a chain instead of a belt), spark plugs, filters, tires, fuel, servicing costs, replacement parts, labour costs and even parking fines - they all add up to some pretty scary numbers if we were to actually do the math.

Kia has taken advantage of this idea and they are now offering most of their cars with a 7-year warranty - that’s 7 years in which they theoretically should take care of everything and give you a trouble-free ownership experience. Renault have also caught on and we say that they will be offering improved warranty and servicing deals on their future offerings, because aside from increasing the quality of the cars (a very expensive process), this is one thing they can do more easily and dramatically increase the appeal of their cars.
