Smart ForTwo Ad - The Good and Bad Side of Facelifts

Back in February, Smart released the first pictures of their facelifted ForTwo which received a few styling updates, including a refreshed grille and lights, fenders, taken directly from the 2012 Smart ED.
Now, in order to promote the updated car in an amusing, thought-provoking and interesting way, Smart have released an ad in which a few plastic surgery addicts seem very jealous at the new car.

While we honestly don’t know what all the fuss is about, as the car is not new and different enough to really warrant such reactions in real life, we do find the ad itself rather interesting and a good excuse to show some exposed skin which has been 'nipped and tucked' repeatedly - that always gets the ratings up!

Facelifted cars started arriving in dealerships at the beginning of April and have been on sale ever since, with an unchanged engine range and a price tag starting at €10,275.
