Good news for the Harley bagger owners: Progressive Suspensions has announced their upgraded 970 series shocks, which now come with a remote reservoir.
Adjusting the rear shocks with saddlebags or hard cases attached is one thing no rider thinks kindly of, and that's why Progressive's 970 series were not exactly the first choice among H-D and Triumph Thruxton owners, despite the obvious advantages these piggyback shocks came with.
Now things have changed, as Progressive added a remote reservoir and the corresponding adjusting dial, granting easy access to setting up suspensions according to need: the reservoir and dials reach in front of the bags and saddles, and adjustments are as easy as pie.
The Progressive Suspensions 970 series shocks are now available in 12 and 13-inch lengths and can be ordered with standard or heavy spring rates. They're not exactly cheap, but given the convenience of the new design, we guess there will be a lot of riders willing to spend $1,249.99 (€953) to obtain the ultimate in comfortable suspension. Available for 1993-2013 Harley-Davidson bikes.
