As the 2013 edition of the Gumball 3000 is approaching, more and more contenders are preparing their vehicles for the ride. We recently showed you Team Galag’s Tumbler, which seems brought directly from Batman’s cave and now it’s time to see what Jon Olsson will be driving this year.
The alpine ski racer is preparing to give us a new evolution for its Ultima GTR, a vehicle that's a veteran of the Gumball rally. The machine keeps its “Rebellion” designation, but this time it gets a bodywork that resembles that of Le Mans racing prototypes of the LMP1 class. The sheer presence of such a vehicle on public roads will put on quite a show.
For now, we can only show you the extreme aerodynamic elements, but the technical side of the car is certainly just as mind-blowing. We can’t wait to get our hands on the specs and share them with you.
