Spanish Supercar Does a Burnout in Monaco

"So what?", you might say. But you've got to remember Monaco has some of the richest people on the planet, and some of them don't like to be disturbed or scared half to death while they're taking a leisurely stroll down the boulevards.

But for one weekend every year, all hell breaks loose as supercars from all over Europe and the Middle East descent upon the city for Top Marques Monaco. The showing has been especially impressive for 2013, and one of the car crazy cars on show was a yellow Spania GTA Spano, probably an example owned by the very company that made it.

Youtube user Fipeux was in Monaco and filmed this short clip of the yellow road rocket doing a burnout during a test ride.

The GTA is powered by a huge 8.4-liter V10 rated at 900 hp and 1000 Nm (737 lb-ft) of torque. Attached to a seven-speed sequential gearbox, the engine will make the GTA sprint from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.9 seconds, giving it a top speed of 350 km/h (218 mph). Only 99 of them will ever be built, and one will be featured in the upcoming Need for Speed movie.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
