Porsche stopped making just super-lightweight sports cars. But we're okay with that because of how good the Panamera Sport Turismo is, especially from the back.
Stuttgart didn't need to make this thing; it could have just focused on more versions of the Cayenne, which it's getting to right now. But the Sport Turismo has such fantastic curb appeal that you'll never get with a high-rider or a small Cayman-sized car.

I've had a change of heart recently. While in the past second-hand listing of cars with aftermarket wheels put me off, it doesn't happen anymore. It's like a consensus of what constitutes good taste - black wheels on a white car, gold alloys on something exotic and sporty.

So actually, this gold-shoed Sport Turismo mod isn't hurting its resale value at all. This belongs to a guy in the auto business and is completely reversible. But if I was (theoretically) looking to buy a Panamera tomorrow... not bad, not bad at all.

Now, we've seen this particular set of wheels, the RS74, on the original Porche with green brakes, the 918 Spyder. It too had been customized at Champion Motorsport along with a couple of 911, so it's all starting to make sense.

The ST was first presented as a concept in 2012. Six years later, I'm still in love with the way this thing looks from the back. And so is Vossen Wheels because almost all the photos they took are from that angle. I just wish it still had that pop-out wing like a regular Panamera Turbo.

Besides the sexy body, this model also has the brains because it's the E-Hybrid model. It's only a V6, but you get all the power and performance you will ever need plus a drivetrain that can be cleaner than a Toyota Prius. If this car were a girl, you'd propose the day after meeting her.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
