When you pay over $7 million dollars for a car, you definitely want to keep it for a while. Unless the police have something against it. The owner of a Pagani Huayra Codalunga was left without his super-expensive vehicle and needed a ride home. Horacio Pagani himself drives a car just like that, but no one can tell if it is his or not.
The Swiss police officers pulled the car over on a mountain road. However, it was not just any car but a Pagani Huayra Codalunga, rated at an astonishing $7.4 million. 'Codalunga' is Italian for 'Long tail.'

The officers inspected the car and went over the paperwork, but they must have found something wrong with the documents and decided to seize the car.

With the Huayra Codalunga, another exclusive model stopped on the side of the road, a Ferrari Testarossa, carrying skis on its roof. The two drivers must have known each other and were probably heading to some skiing resort.

The video making the rounds on social media does not provide much information. However, it shows the Pagani driving off in the company of a silver Toyota Corolla Touring Sports, which was reportedly part of the police fleet.

The one who captured the moment was automotive photographer Freddie Atkins, who happened to be at the right place at the right time. The police told him not to take any pictures. "Lucky I was filming instead!" he wrote in the caption of the video that he uploaded to Instagram, amused that he did not do anything against the police orders.

There is no official information on the event, but people rushed into the comments section to tell their side of the story. “Most probably, it did not have winter tires!” one of the users assumes.

Another one says that the car must have done 1 kph (0.6 mph) over the speed limit.

Someone living in the area says that it must have been the exhaust sound because there are noise restrictions in the area.

The car does not sport a front registration plate but a sticker on the front splitter, which might have also prompted the police crew to pull the Pagani Huayra Codalunga over.

The Pagani Huayra Codalunga is one exclusive automobile. The model was unveiled in June 2022 as a tribute to the Le Mans racing cars of the 1960s, with the Porsche 917, Horacio Pagani’s favorite, being on top of the muses for the Codalunga. The Italian carmaker announced that it would only build five examples, each starting at $7.36 million plus taxes. All five of them were sold long before Pagani even got to officially unveil the car.

The Huayra Codalunga is powered by an AMG-sourced 6.0-liter V12 engine, which pumps out 840 horsepower (851 metric horsepower) and 811 pound-feet (1,100 Newton meters) of torque.

The almighty V12 is mated to a seven-speed Xtrac automatic transmission, which helps put the power down through the rear wheels. Those are enough for the model to flash from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 97 kph) in 2.8 seconds on its way to a top speed of 230 mph (370 kph).

Horacio Pagani drives a car just like the one showing up in the video on social media, which prompted people to ask if it was his. The founder of the company is nowhere to be seen.
