A bubble-top and a very low ride… This is how the Pininfarina PF0 concept looks like in this new teaser released by the Italian company before the car’s debut at the 2018 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on August 23.
The machine is to represent the company’s first ever vehicle as the “world’s newest car brand,” as it was announced in April by its owner, Mahindra. Since the goal of the new brand is to create fully-electric, ultra-luxury cars, it’s safe to assume the PF0 previews exactly that.

There are little details available on the car until its official unveiling at the end of the week. What we do know is that it can reach 62 mph in less than two seconds, on its way to the limited top speed of 250 mph (402 kph). As for the range of the PF0, Pininfarina eyes a maximum drive on a single charge of about 300 miles (482 km).

Hopefully, we’ll get some more details and possibly a few more photos at the end of this week. At Pebble Beach, the car will only be shown to prospective owners, while the public debut is expected to take place next year at the Geneva Motor Show.

The PF0 concept previews a limited-production run of the car that will be manufactured starting 2020. Only 150 units of it will ever be made, each hand-crafted in Cambiano, Italy.

“We are looking forward to presenting the PF0 design model created by Pininfarina SpA to clients and specialist retailers over the coming days,” said in a statement company CEO Michael Perschke.

“But our time at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and in the Monterey auction houses will also be a highlight. We will celebrate Pininfarina’s unique place in automotive history and undoubtedly pick up further inspiration for our future range of cars from these Italian masterpieces.”
