We’ve seen many yachts, real or virtual, on our autoevolution waters. But every once in a while, a big one jumps out and crushes what we thought we knew about yachting design.
The machine to do this is known as the Super Sport 50, and it comes accompanied by two other vessels, which you’ll get to know soon enough. For now, we’ll stick to this tiny giant to awaken your senses.

What we know about it is that the exterior and interior have both been designed by world-renowned Pininfarina, and Rossinavi is, well, Rossinavi, also top Italian game - only in the yachting world. So it makes sense that, eventually, these two houses got together for a drink one weekend and put this beautiful creature together.

Now, we don’t have any specifics into the sorts of materials used to build the vessel, as for now, it’s still a concept. But drawing on Rossinavi history, we can safely assume that this vessel would be built from steel or aluminum.

That being said, all 50 m (164 ft) feature an exterior design that may seem quite familiar amongst Pininfarina fans. The design house's philosophy shines through most on the upper deck and some interior spaces.

We can start our journey aft, where the main staircase is specifically designed to mimic the look and feel of a supercar exhaust, connecting the beach club and main deck beautifully with long wooden steps.

Speaking of wood, we can clearly see that it’s the material of choice for flooring and a large number of furnishings. An aerial view of the ship reveals only a small portion of materials other than wood. For example, aft on the main deck, we see a large lounging area to welcome guests. The seating arrangement is mainly wood with some fabric upholstery.

From here, two other wooden stairs, one on each side of the ship, lead to an outdoor dining area above. Once again, we find the use of wood as a recurring theme. The dining table, chairs, and even minibar? All wood.

But why so much wood? Well, just have a look in the gallery if you haven’t done so already and check out the balance between the superstructure, hull, and the massive amount of wood we see. It looks fantastic!

Now, imagine cruising into port. Other billionaires on even larger yachts would be taking a moment from their activities just to look down at the deck and eventually at who the designer is. And once you spit out the names Rossinavi and Pininfarina, you’ll get the classic oohh!

The bow of the ship is the absolute perfect way to enter port. Its large forward-facing lounge area looks the part with a jacuzzi in the background and leading into that luscious black glass that either houses the owner's loft or flybridge. And yes, of course, more wood flooring and seating.

If you don’t like the bow of the ship, make sure you’re sipping your champagne in the jacuzzi on the top deck, while your buddies are playing poker or having a drink at the round bar right behind you. Just make sure to slow down when entering port. With a top speed of 25 knots, you just might miss port - if you don’t know what you’re doing that is. Better leave the maneuvering of billion-dollar items like this one to the professionals.

I could go on and on about how, who, what, when, where, and even why regarding this project, but I doubt you have that much time on your hands. It's more efficient to take a look for yourself at this beauty if you haven’t already.
