Suzuki has just shown off their excellent-looking S-Cross crossover concept, at the Paris Motor Show. However, contrary to what had been previously stated, the Japanese automaker will not be replacing the aging SX4 with a production version of this, as they will be apparently selling it alongside.
With Suzuki’s new styling language, called “Emotion x Quality x Aerodynamics”, they plant to inject a bit of style into their little crossover, as its competitors also feature funky styling, which apparently is a requirement in the segment, nowadays.

We were aware that Suzuki is capable of producing a great looking automobile, a point excellently demonstrated by their Kizashi sedan, a very underrated car, but a very styling and excellent driving one nevertheless. The production version of the S-Cross will come with all-wheel drive, yet we currently do not know whether or not it will be standard.

Furthermore, keeping in mind Suzuki’s vast experience in making competent off-roaders, we hope and expect the production S-Cross to be one of, if not the most capable in its class, when it comes to off-road performance. We are very eager to see this in its final production form, and while it may lose the concept’s 20-inch rims, they should keep the excellent styling, as we had previously mentioned, it is a requirement in the segment it has to tackle.
