Opel Antara Facelift Price Revealed

Soon after presenting the facelifted version of the Antara SUV, German manufacturer Opel released today the pricing information for the single crossover in their lineup. The new Antara will be retailing on European markets for prices starting at EUR26,780 (Germany price).

The model will enter the market shortly and will come with a mildly revised exterior and a tweaked engine lineup. The powerplants which will power the new Antara have been enriched with the addition of a new 2.2l CDTI Turbo diesel, which develops either 163 hp or 184 hp. An additional 30 hp have been added to the 2.4l petrol engine.

The entire engine line up is available with front-wheel or all-wheel drive configurations and comes equipped with either a manual or an automatic six speed transmission.

The minor modifications brought to the exterior of the car include the addition of chrome bezels for the fog lights, new, front grill and modified rear lights, while the interior and comfort attributes of the model get enhanced by the presence of new paneling and upholstery materials, optimized instrument graphics, a new center console, additional storage space as well as elegant interior lighting.

“The new Antara combines the looks of a sporty off-roader with urban chic. It is practical, functional and equipped with state-of-the-art technology,” said Alain Visser, Opel Marketing, Sales & Aftersales vice president.

“You really notice that it has undergone a major character change. With completely new engines and a newly tuned chassis, the car has become much more dynamic and more comfortable. In short: it offers clear added value in terms of driving pleasure.”
