While certain Ford proprietary information was removed from the courses, they still have essentially the same content that the engineers from Ford and select suppliers have benefited in the past.

Schutt, SAE International's Chief Executive Officer, said in a release.
“Combining these highly valued courses with SAE Professional Development's broader portfolio of popular educational materials makes for a very compelling learning platform for engineers the world over. It definitely strengthens the essence of SAE International's lifelong learning mission," Schutt added.
More than 121,000 engineers and related technical experts in the automotive, aerospace and commercial-vehicle industries are a part of SAE International, that also comprises a charitable arm which supports many programs, including A World in Motion and the Collegiate Design Series.
