The first day of spring is an important one for the Nissan Leaf, as the electric vehicle is now available for order in all 50 US states. This is the vehicle’s final launch stage, with Nissan adding an extra 21 states to the list of markers where the Lead is offered.
People who have placed a reservation are being invited to debut the ordering process, while those coming from the aforementioned last batch of states will be able to reserve the car starting from next week, with the first cars set to reach their owners (in these 21 states) by summer.
"Nationwide availability of the Nissan LEAF means that now, anyone in the country can opt for a transportation solution that does not harm the environment, provides a pathway to energy independence, and doesn’t use a single drop of gas," said Brian Carolin, senior vice president of Nissan North America.
