Nissan is reportedly working on a new version of the appealing 370Z model that would be exclusively addressed to European buyers. According to several media reports, the car will be marketed under the 370Z Nurburgring nameplate, which gives us a hint into the upgrades the future model will showcase.
Since we're talking about Nurburgring, performance upgrades are the most likely scenario. edmunds.com writes that the future car will receive a high-performance exhaust system which is expected to increase the engine output a little bit. And because we're already at the engine chapter, the future special edition will be powered by the same 3.7-liter V6 powerplant that will develop 332 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque.
It will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission, particularly optimized for protecting the environment while providing enough power. 19-inch OZ Racing alloy wheels are also included in the package.
Unfortunately, buying a Nissan 370Z Nürburgring Special Edition will be quite a difficult task as the Japanese manufacturer will build somewhere around 80 units. Each of these models will be painted in bright yellow and will come equipped with a unique number identification plate.
The price? Well, it appears Nissan plans to sell the model for a whopping $71,275 price. Additionally, you'll also get a $212 bonus card that will allow you to test drive the newly-bought car on the Nurburgring circuit.
Full specifications are yet to be released, but more information is expected to surface in the next weeks as we get closer to the official release date. The first public display is yet to be announced.
