Although it looked like another one of Stellantis' forgotten brands (like Lancia, Chrysler, and others) just last year, Alfa Romeo is on a rising trend after the corner-office head honchos finally approved the arrival of an all-new model after more than half a decade of stagnation.
As such, in 2022, the Italian automaker finally revealed its first new model in six years – the Tonale compact crossover SUV. It joined the roster alongside the refreshed Giulia four-door sedan and Stelvio luxury crossover SUV and now even forms part of the company's first-ever range-wide special edition, the 'Tributo Italiano.'

Well, it wasn't hard to achieve that world-first because the halo model of the company, the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, is not yet in production, and (anyway) all 33 units are spoken for. However, this subtle rebirth has triggered a massively enthusiastic answer toward the future of Alfa Romeo – even though the company just shaded it with its exit from Formula One.

As such, everyone was touched by the hype – including the imaginative realm of digital car content creators. Interestingly, every pixel master has an idea about what comes next from Alfa, and it's nothing like the unofficial design project from 'next door.' Some think that a B-segment subcompact crossover is also coming to join the Stellantis brotherhood of the Jeep Avenger, Opel Mokka, DS 3 Crossback, Peugeot 2008, and Fiat 600e.

Others believe that revivals are in order – such as the Giulietta compact hatchback or perhaps a Duetto sports convertible. Well, Sugar Chow, the virtual artist better known as sugardesign_1 on social media, has instead decided to dupe innocent bystanders into thinking this is the new Giulia Quadrifoglio they are looking at. Although it seems almost lifelike, complete with glowing red brakes after a track session, this is all a figment of his vivid imagination.

Always interested in Alfa Romeo's next move, the CGI expert is passionate about the upcoming Giulia, which usually receives the all-new design signature premiered with the Tonale both at the front and rear while the profile is kept relatively traditional. Even better, the author has a knack for making the sedan even sportier than in real life – those hidden rear door handles are copiously inspired by the iconic 156 and work like wonders on the updated body of the sensual Giulia.

As for what's hiding under the hood, the pixel master obviously doesn't care about Alfa Romeo's pledges to make the next Giulia iteration a fully electric executive sedan. Instead, the hypothetical next-gen Giulia breathes air and drinks gasoline, just like the current model. However, the author doesn't give any powertrain hints aside from it being of the ICE variety, given the quad exhaust at the rear – so we could easily speculate that maybe it's a hybrid setup or even a plug-in just like the Tonale, right?
