Ever since it broke cover in the facelifted iteration a few months back, the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio has received several unofficial mid-cycle refreshes, and some of those renderings were very interesting.
Digital artists have gone as far as imagining it in different body styles, including a wagon that would be a veritable BMW M3 Touring rival. In this instance, however, it doesn't take on the five-door variant of the M3 but the two-door one, with a fixed roof over the passenger compartment, aka the M4 Coupe.

Unofficial christened the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Sprint by its virtual maker, sugardesign_1 on Instagram, it is a very sexy Italian premium compact sports coupe that might just put the M4 in its place if it were to happen. The pixel manipulator imagined it from multiple angles, with an emphasis on the new front and rear ends, which feature different lights compared to the real clover-badged Giulia.

The car features a vented hood, wide fenders, fat side skirts, quad exhaust tips, long doors, and big wheels, and it's presented in a dark red finish with several black accents. The four-leaf clover logo still decorates the front fenders, right above the special trim, and its name is proudly displayed on the new trunk lid that sports a new ducktail spoiler. As for the biggest virtual upgrade, it is the new two-door design that places it in the same zone as the M4, RS 5, and the upcoming Mercedes-AMG CLE 63.

In addition to the visual upgrades, a hypothetical two-door variant of the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio would need a different chassis tune compared to the non-Quadrifoglio model. Thus, it would ride closer to the asphalt and be stiffer so that it could tackle twisty roads like a champ. We would've wanted to catch a glimpse of the possible redesigned interior of this digital proposal, but unfortunately, this is where the rendering artist drew the line. Mind you, there are no fewer than 17 CGIs of this model, so make sure you scroll through them in our image gallery above.

The facelifted Giulia Quadrifoglio, as well as its high-riding sibling, the Stelvio Quadrifoglio, have 10 hp (10 ps/7 kW) more in the Anniversario edition compared to the regular variants. The extra oomph, though, is not available on the US-spec models, as it is limited to Europe, UK, and China. The US versions enjoy 503 hp (510 ps/375 kW), which is identical to the M3 Competition that takes 4.1 seconds to hit 60 mph (97 kph) with rear-wheel drive and 3.4 seconds when ordered with the xDrive AWD system. The CLE 63 is expected with a combined 670 hp (680 ps/500 kW) from its electrified 2.0L four-pot when it debuts, perhaps sometime next year.
