French carmaker Renault has just presented the 2011 Kangoo, a revised lineup that comes with many enhancements inside, outside and under the hood. The car will be unveiled at the Brussels Motor Show this month and will go on sale in March later this year with prices to start at EUR 13,499.

First of all, the new Kangoo has a different look outside, being offered with revised bumpers and exterior mirrors, painted in either the same color as the body for Authentique versions or Metal Grey for Expression and Privilege. There are three new body colors available, Moka Brown, Etoile Blue (metallic) and Taupe Grey (non-metallic), plus the seven existing colours (Glacier White, Vif Red, Sidéral Grey, Beige Grey, Pavot Red, Silver Blue and Metal Black), for a range of 10 body colours in all.

The lower part of the cabin is darker, while the dashboard is covered in graphite black finish. Chrome door handles and body colored side protective mouldings are now available from the Expression trim level.

The Kangoo will be offered with an 1.6 16V 105 horsepower Euro 5 engine, bio-ethanol capable and with an automatic transmission for Expression and Privilege versions, or a 1.5 dCi Euro 5 diesel engine in three power outputs - dCi 75 for Access and Authentique, dCi 90 for Authentique, Expression and Privilege and dCi 110 for Expression and Privilege.

The equipment levels have also been revised and, among available features we can also find three different audio systems, 15-inch all-terrain tires, rev-counter plus baggage cover, tire inflation kit and lidded glovebox offered standard on Access, Be Bop-type bumpers with body colour side protective mouldings, leather-trimmed steering wheel, cruise control with speed limiter, trip computer and automatic climate control with rain and light sensors (Climate Pack) for Expression versions and new roof bars, Bluetooth and extra-tinted rear glass for Privilege.
