In case you like cars, guns and post-apocalyptic scenarios, the upcoming Mad Max game will fit you like a glove. Unfortunately, the game has been delayed until 2015... because reasons, of course.
Anyway, the game is so much awaited that the well-known car customizing firm West Coast Customs already built a real replica of the car used in the game, on which the whole story revolves.
In Mad Max the game, you’ll play as Max himself, who has to find and get reunited with his beloved Interceptor, after some bandits took it away. Not much of a story if you ask us, but it sets the mood for some people-slaughter, flaming exhausts, rat-rods, desert dust, shotguns and a long road to go in order to achieve your goals.
The game itself reminds of RAGE, but it’s more focused on vehicular combat; your secondary objective being to build another car to use against the bandits and recover the Interceptor.
A new short trailer emerged a few days ago to keep us on our toes until 2015. The game was announced during E3 2013 last summer and was originally scheduled to launch this spring on all platforms. Avalanche Studios gave no explanations for postponing the game yet.
