Exclusive and extravagant, the fascinating yachting world has long been associated with glamour and luxury and has attracted many of the world's wealthiest and most powerful individuals. One of these lucky few is now the official owner of a brand-new explorer yacht that is both luxurious and capable of long-range journeys.
Coming from a resounding name in the yachting industry, namely Cantiere delle Marche, the Flexplorer 146 is a fantastic pleasure watercraft wrapped in an elegant design by Sergio Cutolo and Hydro Tec, with interiors penned by Winch Design.

Commissioned by a "young and enthusiastic" owner, this 146-foot (44.5-meter) yacht is the third in the Flexplorer 146 series and is currently under construction at the Italian shipyard's Ancona facility. It has been baptized Nasarda and has been meticulously tailored to meet the owner's preferences.

Built like a Transformer for the high seas, the impressive explorer yacht features a displacement steel hull and aluminum superstructure, with some cool hidden features up its sleeve. What makes it unique are the expandable elements that enhance its capability on the water, such as the fold-down bulwarks that enlarge the deck space aft when the vessel is at anchor. An expansive terrace of around 1,238 square feet (115 square meters) is thus created, which can be fitted with sunbeds, loungers, and more to create a nice social space.

An A-frame crane neatly concealed in the aft deck's flooring when not in use is another standout feature of this Flexplorer yacht. This is a clever piece of engineering that shows CdM's expertise and is meant to provide the vessel with a powerful crane to launch a 28-foot (8.5-meter) tender without hindering the use of the deck space.

British design studio Winch Design created an equally impressive, eco-friendly interior for the Flexplorer 146 "Nasarda," using a combination of green materials, an earthy color palette, and organic textures. Thames wood, reclaimed seashell composite, eggshell finishes, recycled fishing nets, and woven grass are just some of the materials employed. One of the highlights of the design will be a "green living wall" made from preserved moss. Moreover, carpets are made from recycled fishing nets, while furnishings will include palm leather.

Featuring a layout that has been customized to the owner's specifications, Nasarda provides accommodation for six guests and six crew members. Three guest cabins are located on the main deck and include two twins and a flexible large double cabin, which can be used as the owner needs. The master suite is luxurious and comfortable, offering a private place to relax and meditate. The owner's deck also features a private stern terrace and a forward lounge area with a cold plunge pool.

The yacht's forward-set superstructure allows for a spacious utility deck that can house a 32.8-foot (10-meter) custom tender, a crew tender, and two jet skis.

In terms of performance, the Flexplorer 146 is equipped with twin Caterpillar C32 Acert engines that will endow it with a top speed of 14 knots and a range of 6,500 nautical miles (12,000 km) when cruising at 10 knots.

Nasarda's elegant hull and imposing profile, the sharp, almost vertical bow, extended wheelhouse and crow's nest, huge deck, and impressive interiors all contribute to making it an ideal ocean-going vessel for those who want to explore the high seas in total safety and comfort.

Talking about the Flexplorer series, CdM's Co-Founder and President Ennio Cecchini declared, "The creation of the Flexplorer line stemmed from the shipyard's aspiration to advance the Explorer Yacht concept, pushing the boundaries of exploration and granting access to the earth's remotest areas, devoid of any services or assistance."
