Many experienced yacht owners say that starting small and working your way up is the right approach when it comes to yacht ownership. And seeing how new smaller yacht models offer a level of comfort and luxury comparable to their larger siblings, it's safe to say first-time owners who go for smaller pleasure watercraft will enjoy the yachting experience to the fullest.
For those clients who want a boat big enough to accommodate a family yet small enough to be easier to handle and anchor anywhere., Lynx Yachts has presented the Adventure 24 pocket superyacht, a model that is currently under construction and is designed for exploration, promising to carry yachtsmen to the farthest corners of the globe.

Adventure 24 will join the Adventure 30 and Adventure 32 models in the Netherlands-based shipyard's series of the same name and is set to be launched in June 2024 as the smallest in the range.

Featuring exterior design by the yard's long-time collaborator Bernd Weel and interior design envisioned by Julian Moore, the nearly 80-foot (24-meter) long ship comes with a fairly well-balanced design, with an imposing and futuristic exterior look, in line with the aesthetic of previous Lynx yachts. Francesco Ruiz of Lynx Yachts is responsible for the boat's naval architecture.

The renderings revealed by the Dutch yard showcase a modern, strong watercraft with a fully customizable interior design that is able to take owners on the adventure of exploring the open waters. Its size enables navigation to remote travel destinations and offers great freedom in terms of anchorages, as it will be able to moor in many popular travel spots, such as the French Riviera.

The yacht is built with a full-displacement steel hull, and the yard fitted it with fin stabilizers for added stability. The layout offers great scope for customization, ensuring flexibility to accommodate the owner's needs and preferences. Though compact in size, the Adventure 24 will welcome up to 15 guests in luxurious staterooms, including two VIP suites and two twin staterooms. A three-stateroom layout is also possible, thus allowing for a full-beam owner's master suite.

The main deck aft houses an al-fresco dining area sheltered under the sundeck overhang. Twin staircases lead to the swim platform below. An additional dedicated dining area is found on the upper deck, this time protected from the elements by a hardtop and joined by a sit-up bar nearby. It's the perfect spot for lavish dinner parties.

Few vessels of this size can match the new yacht's incredible capability to carry tenders. According to the company, the Adventure 24 will be able to house a six-meter tender and two Jet Skis when underway, and it will feature a crane for launch and recovery. Prospective owners who need more space for tenders and toys can even dispose of the hardtop altogether and convert the upper deck into a utility deck.

"The Adventure 24 is a yacht for those who want it all in an 80-foot package. We put all our secret recipes to work to give the adventure-minded yachtsmen generous tender carrying capacity, fabulous accommodation volumes, and plenty of deck entertainment space... the result is certainly unique compared to any yacht of similar size!" said Slim Bouricha, the founder and CEO of Lynx Yachts.

As for performance, the Adventure 24 yacht is equipped with twin Cummins engines that endow it with a cruising speed of 10.4 knots (12 mph/19.2 kph) and a top speed of up to 11.7 knots (13.4 mph/21.7 kph).
