Italian shipbuilder Benetti has recently commemorated its 150th anniversary, and besides a lavish three-day celebration in Viareggio, the company has also marked the occasion with the introduction of a Limited Edition Voyager superyacht.
The renderings for the new limited edition vessel have just been unveiled, and they present a 131-foot (40-meter) model part of the yard's B.Yond line of long-range voyagers. Described by Benetti as an "exquisite jewel," the special vessel enhances the signature features of the B.Yond range.
Designed in collaboration with P.L.A.N.A. Design, the superyacht comes with a sleek hull finished in a unique and refined metallic shade called Vulcan Grey by the Italian yard. Some black accents and a gold line running from the stern to the bow further enhance its elegance, while a gilded, backlit Benetti logo sits proudly on the sides of the upper deck.
Enriching the yacht's aesthetic appeal and onboard guests' experience are glass railings with teak handrails, which not only allow unobstructed views of the surroundings but also create a sense of freedom and deep connection with the sea.
The stunning yacht spans four decks, with spaces and volumes cleverly distributed to provide comfort and amenities comparable to what you can find in larger mega yachts. It features various relaxation areas where guests can relax, unwind, and take in the amazing surrounding views.
A standout feature of the limited edition watercraft can be found on the aft deck, where a spacious area is dedicated to those who want to sunbathe and swim. A sunbathing spot covering more than 861 square feet (80 square meters) offers twin C-shaped seating, coffee tables, and a scenic infinity pool with a glass bottom that creates the sensation of touching the sea, allowing guests to immerse in a genuine yachting experience.
The main deck of the B.Yond Limited Edition houses the sleeping quarters, with four elegant VIP cabins and a lavish full-beam master suite. The crew is accommodated in five additional cabins on the lower deck, where there is also a spare cabin that can be outfitted to serve as a spa, gym, or wellness center.
An additional open-air lounge area is on the bridge deck. Here, guests can enjoy a bit more privacy in an enclosed Hampton-style veranda fitted with sunbeds aft and the wheelhouse area forward. The sundeck is dedicated to socialization, as it boasts a bar and a comfortable al-fresco dining area shaded by the hard top, plus a sunbathing area.
As much fun as they have onboard the yacht, some guests might want to experience other water activities as well, so an impressive garage that can easily accommodate two jet skis, a 21.3-ft (6.5-meter) tender, and a rescue boat is also part of the package.
Sustainability was also on the designer's mind when developing this limited edition yacht, as it can optionally be equipped with the E-Mode Hybrid propulsion system, developed in collaboration with Siemens Energy. Endowed with the same go-anywhere cruising capabilities as the other sisterships in the range, the B.Yond Limited Edition can cover about 8,200 nautical miles (15,190 km) while cruising at 9 knots in Eco Transfer mode.
The Limited Edition B.Yond voyager will only be available for purchase in a 12-month window until June 2024. The flexibility of this yacht's layout means that future owners can redefine existing spaces and customize them as they see fit for their needs and preferences.
