Moto.it have caught the much anticipated MV Agusta Rivale in the wild, naked as it should be and with no covers.
We might guess that the final version of the Rivale will sport these two colors, the metallic silver and the black: not the most spectacular liveries, we daresay, but maybe there's more to this before the bike is launched.

While MV Agusta's Giovani Castiglioni says the Rivale was the most difficult endeavor during the last years for the Varese company, it looks like all these efforts are going to finally pay off. The bike has already received multiple praises and was designed to Ducati Hypermotard's worst nightmare.

The MV Agusta Rivale comes with a 3-cylinder engine which has already proven its brawn and will offer 125 HP which is really awesome given the 170 kg (375 lbs) weight. Adjustable Marzocchi and Sachs suspension with radial Brembo brakes and more is enough to send chills down Hypermotard's spine.

The Rivale is scheduled to make appearance in the second half of the year and we're not expecting anything cheap. However, if they want a piece of Ducati's cake, the Varese guys must definitely keep an eye on the price tag.
