As we always say, there's nothing like a quarter mile face-off between two legendary American cars. Today, we're going to see a Ford Mustang Boss 302 take on a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1.
However, this is not a regular drag strip race, because the two vehicles have very different power outputs. The 2013 Mustang packs 444 HP, while the 2011 Corvette puts 638 supercharged horses on the track.
With the muscle advantage well placed under the bonnet, the Corvette driver allows the Boss 302 to hit the throttle a second earlier. As one can imagine, almost 200 extra HP are more than enough for the Vette driver to catch up on the Blue Oval-badged pony and cross the line 0.55 seconds and 7 miles per hour faster.
