We haven't head anything from the Moscow Mole since last year, but the famous Russian drag racing even came back with a vengeance and we have yet more superlative action from the Unlim 500+ category.
We're pretty sure "Nissan Juke" and "Bugatti Veyron" have never been used together in a single sentence, so we need to explain why this unlikely clash of the titans was possible. The Unlim 500+ class allows you to race any king of monstrous car with any piece of tuning on it. The Juke R you see is not the one Nissan makes, it's a special project car built by the Russians.
Just like the real Juke R, this has a 3.8-liter twin-turbo borrowed from the GT-R, but has been tuned to 700 horsepower. By comparison, the Bugatti has 300 hp more coming from its 8.4-liter 16-cylinder engine, but that advantage is lost to some degree by the extra half ton it's carrying around.
The Juke R wins the 1/4 mile race by about a second but loses overall. The photo finish shows only 6 thousands of a second separated the two cars. Amazing!
