Unlim 500: America and Germany Battle in Russia

Who makes the fastest cars for going in a straight line. Most likely it’s America, since they practically invented the sport, but of course Europe has put a new spin on things at the Moscow Mile. This is a place on the outskirts of the Russian capital where people with 500+ horsepower cars can go and play.
This time, the guys at DragTimesInfo produced a video montage of three drag racing cars from the Moscow mile.

First off, the battle is carried out between a 620 hp Dodge Challenger SRT-8 and a 600 hp Mercedes Benz C63 AMG. The Merc takes the lead off the line and keeps it until the end of the race. Brute force doesn’t always win, but the Challenger is still a cool car to drive in Russia.

The second drag race is between two Germans, the same C63 AMG and an Evotec Audi RS6. Predictably, the Audi has the longer legs, but it’s closer than you might think!

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
