Drag Race: 1100 HP GT-R vs. 950 HP 911 Turbo

Nobody has fun like the Russians. They are the big spenders when they visit other countries. They like to buy fast cars, diamonds and fur cots, just to show how much they’ve improved their status.
They’ve also got a really cool legal drag racing event called the Moscow Mile. And in the Unlimited 500+ category, all sorts of insane tuned cars race each other.

Recently, a drag race between a 1,100 horsepower Nissan GT-R AMS Alpha 12 and a Porsche 911 Turbo tuned by Protomotive (950 hp) took place.

The two duel it out over the full mile (1.6 km). The 911 is quicker off the line and manages to pull an impressive lead. But thanks to the 150 hp advantage it has, the GT-R reels it in and wins by a car length.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
