Drag Race Twin-Turbo Gallardo Vs. Switzer 911

All-wheel drive turbocharged tuned cars are notoriously hard to get off the line. Do it right and the results are spectacular, but get it wrong and you could prove to be woefully slow.
This battle took place at the Russian mecca of speed, the Moscow mile, where all the Eastern playboy go and play. This one mile piece of straight tarmac flanked on both sides by trees is, as always covered with camera by the guts at DragTimesInfo.

So, back to the battle between two turbocharged Goliaths - a 950 horsepower Porsche 911 Turbo tuned by Swizer and a twin-turbo Lamborghini Gallardo with a manual gearbox and 1500 horsepower.

The Porsche gets the legs on the Lambo off the line, but the black Gallardo has enough power to win the race comfortably. The Porsche ended at just 269 km/h, so we suspect the driver made a mistake somewhere since it should do well over 300 km/h.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
