After Ford offered us a quick view of the launch control feature found on the 2013 Shelby GT500, the camraker is now allowing us to see the vehicle in action at the drag strip once again.
The company has released a clip that Shows the badass ‘Stang being put through its paces on the drag strip, with Ford explaining: “The SVT team takes the 2013 Shelby GT500 out to the quarter-mile drag strip to see what it's made of.”
The vehicle comes with the aforementioned launch control function, which allows the user to set the RPM setting for the take-off and seems to be pretty easy to use. If the driver plays his cards right, the 2013 GT500 manages to play the quarter mile game in 11:82, a very exciting result.
