No 'Vette, old or new, needs any aftermarket mods unless we're talking about a modern engine to make it even quicker. That does not apply to the C8 generation, whether we're talking about the base Stingray, the electrified E-Ray, or the track-focused Z06.
However, that doesn't mean anything to a select few, who have made their latest-gen Chevrolet Corvettes look more muscular. Several tuners, including Liberty Walk and Pandem, have all kinds of widebody accessories on their shelves for this model.
At first glance, one might think that the pictured 'Vette came from the renowned company based in the Land of the Rising Sun. After all, it fits the bill by featuring the usual bolt-on fenders and a few other bits and bobs. However, they'd be wrong because Pandem signed this design.
In addition to the aforementioned fender attachments, with visible bolts, this Chevy Corvette also rocks new side skirt add-ons that have a similar look. The tuner gave it a fresh chin spoiler, a few updates at the rear, including that rather large adjustable wing, and rounded it off with a few decals.
Besides Pandem, Rohana was also involved in this project, as it signed the RFG23 wheels. Available in Tande, Unibloc, and Trinity options, according to the wheelmaker's website, these alloys were made of aero-space grade 6061-T6 forged aluminum. They're tailor-made alloys available in multiple premium and custom finishes, with center-locking being an option, and they feature a Brushed Radiant Cooper with carbon fiber lips on the pictured Corvette.
Unfortunately, neither Rohana nor Pandem was willing to disclose anything else about this special build, but it is obvious that we are looking at at least one more modification. Yep, it is the revised suspension, which is likely air-adjustable. Otherwise, clearing the smallest of objects, like tiny pebbles and leaves, would be an impossible job for this white mid-engined machine. It is possible that it also features an aftermarket exhaust system for a deeper tone, yet that's our two cents.
Before calling it a story and moving on to the next one, we will remind you that the normal Stingray enjoys up to 495 horsepower in its top specification, and while that might not seem much compared to real supercars, it is still capable of reaching 60 mph (97 kph) in just 2.9 seconds, and a 194 mph (kph) top speed.
The Z06 is punchier courtesy of its flat-plane crank V8, which steams out 670 hp, dropping three-tenths of a second from the acceleration time. The E-Ray is the fastest of the three, taking only 2.5 seconds to 60 mph with a combined output of 655 horsepower. As a reminder, Chevy is also working on the ZR1, which is expected for the 2025 model year with over 800 horsepower.
