There are countless widebody kits out there, but few can match the desirability of Rocket Bunnies and Pandems. Both brands come courtesy of TRA Kyoto, an outfit founded by widebody superstar Kei Miura. The latest addition to the range is the Pandem C8 Corvette, and the mid-engine sports car in the following video is the first of its kind.
Now available to order in the U.S., the Pandem kit breaks down into eight components. The list kicks off with the front lip and front fenders at $1,000 and $1,800, respectively. The side skirts are $1,200, the rear fenders add $1,800 to the tally, and the ginormous wing is a $1,200 optional extra. Shipping isn’t included in the price, and yes, installing these parts also costs money.

Brent Ruiz had the opportunity to check out a Pandem-bodied ‘Vette up close and personal, and the first thing the vlogger highlights is the Ferrari F50-like design of the wing. Rivets can be seen on every corner, and carbon fiber has been used for various components such as the hardtop.

As opposed to Magnetic Ride Control suspension technology, this blacked-out bad boy is gifted with Air Lift Performance air suspension that brings the car ridiculously low to the ground. LD97 Forged supplied the handcrafted five-spoke wheels, which are complemented by Toyo Proxes R888R super-sticky tires that cost in the ballpark of $2,000 for a set of four.

LTMW of Southern California – also known as LTMOTORWERKS – is the shop that installed the widebody kit onto the vehicle, which looks completely different from the bone-stock Corvette without taking away the character of the original specification. Last but certainly not least, Borla is the company responsible for the cat-back exhaust system made from stainless steel.

Like the NPP performance exhaust bundled with the Z51 package, the aftermarket system features butterfly valves that work with the bone-stock actuators to control the exhaust volume on the fly.
