You know a show’s that good when, seven years after the series finale, we’re still talking about the possibility of a new season. AMC’s Breaking Bad is one such show.
Airing between 2008 and 2013 and spawning two spinoffs, Better Call Saul and El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, the original Breaking Bad remains a staple of modern television and the purported archetype of the modern antihero. It ended its run as it was supposed to, delivering a series finale worthy of the show and one that, arguably, offers no coming back from.

But what if it were to happen? Maybe leading man Bryan Cranston, who played lead Walter White, could be talked into reprising the role if his character got a decent car this time. That’s the premise digital artist Oscar V starts from, redesigning White’s Pontiac Aztek with a very awesome Heisenberg spin.

This isn’t the first time Oscar V tries his hand at White’s first car, which also happens to be the ugliest car ever sold in North America according to most people blessed with the gift of sight. It’s still a pointless exercise in terms of paving the way for a new season, but at least fans of the franchise will have a visual to go with all their daydreaming about how great a continuation would be.

This is the second version of the concept, featuring a new paint job (similar to the one on the OG car) and Goodyear tires, and some design cues from the Chevrolet Trailblazer. All in all, it’s not bad, especially if you consider what he had to work with at the start of the project. That would be an SRV that sounded very good in theory but which, in reality, came out as if it was made from mismatched parts from different vehicles, glued together blindly.

Because no Heisenberg vehicle is complete without something that speaks to his overinflated ego, this re-done Aztek comes with its own Heisenberg emblem.
