There is still plenty of this summer season left to enjoy, and what better way to do it than cruising the idyllic Mediterranean or North Sea waters? For yachtsmen looking for a new pleasure watercraft to indulge in a world of relaxation, Dutch shipyard Moonen Yachts has revealed a new long-range steel yacht that blends classic, timeless lines with contemporary interiors and modern amenities.
Baptized Moonen 110 Mustique, the new series joins the Dutch yard's lineup of premium semi-custom yachts alongside the Martinique family. The first hull of the new range has already been completed and is currently available for sale and immediate delivery following the unit's successful sea trials in May.

The Mustique stands out from the crowd as a luxury leisure boat with a social layout, ready to attract yachtsmen with a surprising sense of spaciousness for its size and its oceangoing ability. Speaking of size, the new yacht measures 111 feet (34 meters) in length, with a beam of nearly 25 feet (7.5 meters) and a volume of 279 gross tons. It boasts an elegant blue hull and offers ample accommodations and lounging spaces that invite relaxation and meditation at sea.

The shallow draft of just two meters (6.5 feet) means the yacht's owner can enjoy skinny-water cruising, as access to remote locations like the Bahamas, the Caribbean, and the Great Barrier Reef won't be a problem.

Moonen Yachts created Mustique's exterior design in collaboration with long-standing design partner René van der Velden, while naval architecture was signed off by Diana Yacht Design. Boasting sleek and timeless exterior lines, the new yacht has been described by the shipyard as a "gentleman's yacht" and draws inspiration from two smaller series from the past that are no longer in production, specifically the Moonen 84 and Moonen 97, but offers more space, future-proof technology, and more economical operation.

London-based Studio Indigo took care of the interior design, and the team created a reinterpretation of the vintage 1980 layouts of the aforementioned Moonen yachts as a subtle nod to Moonen's heritage.

Accommodation onboard Mustique is offered for a total of 10 guests, as the vessel includes a full-beam master suite, two VIP cabins, and two convertible twins. There are also a captain's cabin and two twin crew cabins.

The forward-facing owner stateroom is like a private retreat on the main deck and features wrap-around windows that offer sweeping 180-degree panoramic views. As part of their efforts to create a relaxing and comforting interior, the team also focused on sound and vibration control. The yard says that the sound levels in the master stateroom are just 43 decibels at anchor with one genset in operation.

Floor-to-ceiling windows in the main saloon and ceilings that are about seven feet high (2.15 meters) help amplify the feeling of spaciousness.

Numerous outdoor living areas with lounging and al-fresco dining spots, along with a large top deck of 775 sqft (72 sqm), provide entertaining space for guests onboard. Besides offering sun and shade, the top deck can also accommodate a tender of up to 24 feet (7.5 meters).

In terms of propulsion, the Moonen 110 Mustique is powered by twin Caterpillar C18 ACERT engines that will ensure a cruising speed of 10 knots (11.5 mph or 18.5 kph) with a 3,500-nautical-mile (6,482 km) range. The yacht is ready to meet its future owner, who should be willing to fork out €17 million (about $18.65 million) to enjoy all that it has to offer.
