Once you've ridden a cruiser with an air suspension system, you're going to dream of installing one on your own bike. And since Misfit Baggers happen to know this and be in the bagger business, here's one of their nifty treats: Torpedo, the pressure cans which go in your saddlebags.
One of the biggest issues with installing an air ride system on a bike is where to place the pressurized canisters, but the Misfit Torpedo seems to have a solution for this problem.
Thanks to its special shape, these tanks can be easily placed at the bottom of the hard cases on your bagger, or even attached to the underside. Just remember to load them closer to the bike, so you won't be scraping the road with them...
These cans are made in the US in stainless steel and are pressure-tested individually. They can hold 200 psi (13.6 atm) and can be matched to the air ride shocks of your choice. The Torpedo Air Tank system retails for $299 (€228), or you can chose a complete Misfit Rear Air Suspension Kit for $799.95 (€610). Thanks Cyril Huze for spotting them.
