Military Personnel Get $1,000 Cash Back from Victory Motorcycles

Following Harley-Davidson's initiative of offering a special salute to the military, the next motorcycle manufacturer in the United States to honor US and Canadian military personnel for their dedication and commitment is Victory Motorcycles. “You’ve got our back, and now we’ve got yours,” the company advertises its campaign.

Victory, however, has not contracted any supermodel and will not make any posters and prints, but thought of a much more appealing way to salute the military and sell its bikes.

Therefore, U.S. and Canadian military personnel are being offered $1,000 cash back on the purchase of any new Victory model during the Victory “Full Throttle Salute.” Of course, the offer is available for a limited time only, namely until December 31, 2009.

All active, National Guard, reserve, and retired military personnel are eligible with proof of a valid military I.D. They will be able to choose from Victory’s American-made cruiser motorcycles model range, from the Victory Vegas and the muscle car-inspired Hammer S to touring models such as the Victory Vision and the new Victory Cross Country and Victory Cross Roads.

“We at Victory respect and appreciate the sacrifice and service of our armed forces” said Victory General Manager Steve Menneto, in a statement for the press. “‘The Victory Full Throttle Salute’ is an opportunity for Victory to show that appreciation, and offer these men and women the chance to get on a new Victory and enjoy the escape motorcycling provides.”

According to the company, all 2009 and earlier Victory models come with a 5-year warranty, but for a limited time only. However, model Year 2010 Victory models are covered by a two-year warranty.
