The second teaser for the Mercedes-AMG F1 W05 single-seater hit YouTube earlier and this time it incorporates some footage of both Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg pep talking their fans before the 2014 Formula 1 season begins.
Since this is a teaser, shots of the race car leave pretty much everything to speculation, including what shape will the new nose of the car have and how will the colors of the livery look on the all-new W05.

As you probably know by now, and to mildly and inappropriately quote Monty Python, Formula 1 cars are completely different in 2014, with the biggest changes happening in terms of propulsion.

Just like the rest of the grid, the new Mercedes-AMG Petronas W05 is powered by a turbocharged V6 engine with just 1.6-liters of displacement, which is paired with an all-new KERS unit.

The new powerplant is so different compared to other seasons that Mercedes-AMG Petronas no longer calls it an engine but a... get this... Hybrid Power Unit. That's straight up science fiction talk right there.

We don't mind that much, especially since our previous fears about the way it will sound have been completely unfounded if we are to believe this short audio teaser of the new W05 blasting away at Silverstone. Stay tuned for the car's official unveil at Jerez in just a few hours.
