The Renault Australia range will be enhanced soon by the arrival of the Megane RS 250 Australian Grand Prix Limited Edition, a model that celebrates the 35th anniversary of Renault’s arrival in the Formula One game.
The Megane RS GP model arrives as standard with features like a gloss black finish, fixed glass roof, bi-xenon directional headlights and a set of Steev 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Bridgestone RE050A tires.
Unfortunately, the engine does not benefit from the recent power boost to 265PSthat has arrive in Europe with the facelift of the car. Thus, the 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder ‘only’ produces 250PS, which is still enough for a stripped out car like this.
Just 50 Australian Grand Prix limited edition models have been earmarked for Australia’s consumption, and all we be sold for a AUD3,000 premium over the RS 250 Trophee.
