Meet the Sandborghini! What is a Sandborghini, you may ask? That's easy. It is a Lamborghini stuck in the sand. It happened in Avon, North Carolina. Now, the driver is the talk of the town. People even stop him in traffic and ask for a selfie together.
First things first. This was not legal. The owner got a permit for off-roading from the North Carolina authorities with a few taps on his phone. That is how easy the procedure is.

The owner of the Lamborghini Huracan learned the hard way that his supercar is not an off-roader. He wanted to have some fun in the sun. Instead, he just got stuck in the sand.

He had prepared everything the right way. His car was factory-equipped with all-wheel drive, he installed a tow hook, he got a Chevrolet Silverado ZR2 pickup truck to accompany him, just in case. So everything seemed right.

One thing he failed to do was air down the tires, which is standard procedure when going on sand. He was afraid too much air would come out. But even doing that procedure would not have helped him much.

The driver really thought that the all-wheel drive would get him out, but doh! What can the poor system do when the wheels have no grip surface?

A few feet into the beach, and the car is stuck already, with no chance to come out. This is where the Silverado comes in. The driver of the pickup truck lets the air out of the tires before he goes to save the stranded Lamborghini.

"If you get stuck towing me, we are going to look really dumb," the owner of the Huracan warns him.

All they would have to do is turn around and drive away as if nothing happened. But that is easier said than done, since the sand is almost at the door level. Once the Chevrolet starts to pull, nothing happens. Even worse, the pickup truck is starting to sink in the sand as well.

Five minutes later, people started to stare and show anger. Nobody jumped in to help the silly young men who thought that taking a Lamborghini to the beach was fun.

Pulling forward did not work, so they switched to pulling the supercar from behind. The Lambo started to move, and the people cheered. But then it got stuck once again in a small sand bump.

"I like your car!" Someone tells the owner. "Thank you very much, it's super good off-road," he ironically replies.

He is now happy the car sustained no damage. Or at least nothing has shown up just yet. But he is infuriated reading the comments that slam him and surprised at the level of hatred that he received online. Well, apparently, that is what you get if you think that a Lamborghini Huracan can go to the beach. At least, get a Sterrato for the job!
