Is it just us or the British are set to conquer Sweden? We're probably paranoid since WW2 ended more than half a century ago, but both McLaren and Bentley have announced the opening of new dealerships in the Swedish capital city of Stockholm.
The new Bentley showroom was opened on Grev Turegatan, in one of Stockholm’s main designer shopping districts, where local customers got to see the new Flying Spur for the very first time.

“The opening of our new showroom in Stockholm is a great moment for Bentley in Sweden.  With their all-year round, effortless driveability, Bentley cars have always been extremely popular with customers here.  Bringing our sales centre closer to our main customer base will strengthen Bentley’s position in Sweden even further,” said Filip Larsson, managing director of Bentley Stockholm.

Moving on to McLaren, the British sportscar manufacturer will now be available to Scandinavian customers via Autoropa, who was selected as exclusive retailer of the brand.

“We are very pleased to officially open McLaren Stockholm, and give the opportunity to customers in the Nordic countries to experience our products and discover the brand’s philosophy. Autoropa is the obvious partner with its excellent knowledge of the market but also its target to deliver the highest service to customers,” said David Brimson, McLaren Automotive regional director for Europe.
