Ever since we were young we have learned that it's not nice to point your finger at someone who is different than you. They may be different for a number of reasons, from culture to history, entourage or even genetics.
We have no idea why the Japanese society is so different than the Western one sometimes, but it is not for us to judge, only to report.
Which is what we are going to do about the recently launched Japanese online campaign for the baby-CLS, officially known as the Mercedes-Benz CLA.
The short teaser ad accompanying the official release of the car in Japan is called "The CLA is born" and it's essentially about what looks like a Mercedes-Benz CLA if it would have appeared in I, Robot, only that most of the action is going down in space.
So the ad is pretty much about an alien spaceship which cruises around the Universe until (someone) decides it should be better if it came crashing down on Earth, grow a set of wheels and become the Mercedes-Benz CLA. If we were to guess, there may be a correlation between the CLA's aerodynamics and the commercial, but we're also pretty sure it couldn't be something so obvious.
